The "Sky as a laboratory" at Accademia Navale di Livorno

The project "Sky as a laboratory" has been presented at Accademia Navale di Livorno on 10 June 2011 at the presence of parliamentary secretary of Italian Ministry of Education Valentina Aprea and of Admiral Commander of the Academy Pierluigi Rosati. 
 
The "Sky as a laboratory" is a project of the University of Padua realized from an idea of Prof. Piero Rafanelli, Director of Department of Astronomy of the University of Padua.
 
The project consist of a series of lectures, physics experimentations and astronomical observations that give to the students the possibility to understand advanced theories of physics and astrophysics and it is dedicated to the students of the last year of high school as a cultural experience and a course to choose the university curriculum. For the teachers of scientific subjects that partecipate is valid as a refresher course.
 
The project, realized until now in Veneto, will take place from next shool year also in other Italian areas. For Tuscany ARTES partecipated to the presentation. 
 
The evening saw even the direct experience of observation at the telescope of Asiago in remote control directly from Accademia Navale di Livorno.
