Maurizio Sacconi

Born in Conegliano Veneto (Treviso) in 1950. After graduation in Law, he has been professor at the Faculty of Economics of LUISS University and Tor Vergata University in Rome.
He is married.
From 1979 to 1994 è was Italian MP for four legislatures.
Between 1992 and 1993 he has been Parliamentary Secretary delegate of Ministry of Public Service and he has cared reform of public services and public employment.
From 1995 to June 2001 he has been official of ILO (International Labour Office) of Geneva, ONU special agengy, having the role of Branch Office Director in Rome.
From 2001 to May 2006 he has been Parliamentary Secretary of Italian Ministry of Labour and Social Policy with proxy for labor market.
He is coauthor with Marco Biagi of "Libro Bianco" of labor market.
From May 2006 he is Senator of the Italian Republic.
At present he is Minister of Labor, Health and Social Policy.
