Giulio Sapelli

Giulio Sapelli is born in Turin in 1947.
 
He graduated in Economic History and he has been an academic researcher of the London School of Economics and Political Science, the University of Barcelona and the University of Buenos Aires.
 
He has been director of studies of Ecole des hautes études en Sciences Sociales of Paris.
 
At present he is full Professor of Economic History at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Milan.
 
He has been professor and researcher in many universities and in italian and international companies. 
 
His scientific works relates to italian capitalism, large companies, insurance companies, medium-sized enterprises of excellence, business associations, transports, energy, technological development, theory of the firm, organizational culture, market conditions and corporate governance, regional economic and social systems, economical growth and modernization of Southern Europe, economic anthropology, business ethics.
 
He is research fellow of Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei (FEEM) and member of OECD International Board for non profit.
 
With ARTES he is part of the project "Artes et Ethica".
