Giovanni Trapattoni

He is born in Cusano Milanino on 17 March 1939 and is an Italian football coach.
 
Married wtih two children.
 
He has been a football player of AC Milan and after closing the playing career in Varese, choose to start the career of coach and immediately in important teams.
 
In 1976 he has been coach of Juventus and, in his first season, wins Serie A and prestigious UEFA Cup.
 
His career as a coach is brilliant: he has won 10 times national leagues (6 times with Juventus, 1 with Inter Milan, 1 with Bayern Munchen, 1 with Benfica and 1 with Red Bull Salzburg), 1 Champions League, 1 Intercontinental Cup, 3 UEFA Cup, 1 UEFA Super Cup, 1 Italian Super Cup, 2 Italy Cup and 1 Germany Cup.
 
He has been coach of many teams like Juventus, Inter Milan, Bayern Munchen and Fiorentina.
 
In 2000 he has been coach of Italy National Football Team.
 
At presente he is coach of Ireland National Football Team.
 
Giovanni Trapattoni was guest of opening of academic year of Accademia dei Ponti on 23 Genuary 1999 in Florence.
